Although Instagram has yet to update their meta description with Android availability, Instragram has arrived on Google Play (formerly known as the Android Market) this morning. The Verge has already done their full review of Instragram for Android and  have made a helpful video comparing Instagram on iOS and Instragram on Android.

Many Android faithful know that similar apps have been out for a while, but the fact is Instagram has created a large social network out of sharing photos. I am looking forward to using this app for the social purposes, the only two gripes I have is the time it takes to change filters (See Verge review below) and the fact that it is yet to have the tilt shift filter.
